This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of one of the mostly highly regarded Global Companies within the area of Welding and Associated Land and Offshore Projects.
On behalf of our client, we seek experienced Senior Welding Engineers to join their Scottish operation (however multiple International working locations are also on offer).
Job Purpose:
You will provide technical welding solutions in support of the regional business objectives and provide technical leadership to develop the group technical department.
Manage the preparation & development of project driven welding procedures.
Lead the company's welding development programme
Instruct and provide guidance to welders.
Support tender preparations.
Project consumable quantification and advise on purchasing.
Provide technical support, feedback or recommendations
Liaise with client on status and or recommendations.
Proactively target technical problem areas and strive towards continuous improvement.
Applicants must hold relevant metallurgical degree or equivalent.
Also must have working knowledge of all relevant welding processes and NDT techniques.
