Senior Developer-London
A market leading publishing company based in London are seeking a Senior Developer to join their expanding team.
You will ensure that brand led development projects integrate with the overall platform architecture and strategy.
I am seeking a Developer with a good background in web application development and architecture with a proven ability to deliver high-quality software. Previous experience of leading and mentoring junior developers is desired.
You must have at least 3 years as a developer primarily using .NET technologies and 1 year using the .NET MVC Framework.
Experience of ad serving technologies, SEO, analytics technologies and email marketing systems would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a degree( 2:1 degree in computing or similar.) and be an expert in two or more major OO programming languages including C#/.NET. ColdFusion experience highly regarded.
You will have extensive experience with MSSQL including the writing of advanced queries and stored procedures.
Excellent understanding of client and server side web technologies. Html/xhtml, css, JavaScript, XML, restful API's, SOAP, and RIA technologies such as Flex, Flash and Ajax.
Hands-on experience of any of the following - Agile, Scrum, RUP, XP, test-driven development, continuous integration.
Experience of working in teams who utilize some or all of the following - subversion, eclipse, ant, cruise control, coldspring, selenium.
Detailed practical experience of working within and implementing a model-view-controller architectural pattern.
