I have a fantastic opportunity with my client, a large well respected, multinational organisation, for an experienced SAP BW consultant.
Purpose of the job:
Deliver ICT expertise, implement and maintain the specific application, deliver support within the assigned area, based on clear defined deliverables, in line with the ICT strategy and in close alignment with the business (process owner and/or functional owner) or projects, in order to support and improve business- and ICT processes.
Specific:
-Expertise in designing SAP BW Solutions
-Experience in SAP BW implementations
-Ability to translate functional requirements to BW solutions & architecture
-Ability to govern BW developments towards structured, standardized and future proof landscape.
Pattern of relationships, internal:
* Management team of Group IT * Group IT program and project managers. Other group IT employees
External
* Advisors * Consulting businesses * Other suppliers
Tasks and responsibilities
*Identifies opportunities for ICT improvement regarding Business Intelligence (BI) applications, processes and procedures, using SAP BW (BW, BCS, BPS, SEM).
*Responsible for gathering business requirements regarding Business Intelligence
*Formulates proposals and contributes to the realization of these proposals
*Advises on the possibilities of SAP BW, based on best practices and standard SAP business content
*Responsible for the company's SAP BW architectural aspects: modeling and setup of the company's Enterprise Data warehouse.
*Integrates multiple BW projects and disciplines towards the company's BW architecture
*Manages, assesses and controls external partners
*Acts as an intermediate between different stakeholders within the company
*Directs or participates in complex changes regarding existing and new BW applications
*Acts as the principle consultant, managing external technical consultants, during implementations and new releases
*Coaches BW Consultants and insures proper design and realisation during projects
*Works within a complex international environment with many new processes, changes and implementations on various ICT applications in combined company / local landscapes.
