Solutions Designer

A Solution Designer is required for a national retailer based in Hertfordshire.

The position involves the transfer of the current Pay@pump solution operating in UK sites to a solution design which can operate in Alliance sites

Required is an understanding of the As Is architecture and solution design and how this can be adapted for Alliance sites.

A definition of the pump protocol which can be used in the “To Be” design working with the pump manufacturer. “To Be” solution to enable the pump/OPT to talk to the till.

Experience:

• Demonstrable track record for delivering technical solutions
• Ability to map system design and processes
• Ability to present technical solutions to a non technical audience
• Able to work across programmes to draw on established expertise to define a solution
• Able to work with external companies and their nominated suppliers
• Experience working in the fuel industry, preferably at the Retail end
• Familiar with till development in retail
