Exceptional systems engineer role is currently available to successful candidates looking to join my clients new, emerging control and monitoring systems, based just outside of London in the South East region in a remote control and monitoring system capacity.
The systems engineer/ support role will involve a combination of commissioning, system installation and customer support for both customers and operating networks, with a range of different engineering disciplines form radio system deployment to database and website software, with a hands on approach.
Successful systems engineer/ support candidates will need to have some or all of the following:
Customer support of IT or communications systems
Linux network management with a basic knowledge of firebird and or Apache
Experience of design or the deployment of communication infrastructure
Database and web based designed systems, ideally with Firebird and Apache
An engineering degree
Experience of design, management or test of large IT systems
Successful candidates will be expected to be:
An enthusiastic team player, but also be able to work in an independent manner.
Have fantastic communication skills and be prepared to work in customer facing roles
