Liaison with teams responsible for Development, Sales information, Customer billing, Customer support and Legal.
Broad Content of Role:
This is a role requiring both administrative and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will have the ability and experience to deal with UK and overseas data suppliers and to communicate effectively and in detail with Fidessa departments implementing new market data services. They will need enthusiasm and a commitment to learn, along with a good eye for detail, to see new data content from project inception through into production.
Key activities are:
* Negotiating contracts with data providers, often by phone and email
* Liaising with legal and management to obtain approval for new contracts
* Understanding the Fidessa product range and how data acquired will be used
* Briefing internal teams such as Development, Sales and Customer support, on new data acquired
* Maintaining departmental records including a database and spreadsheets
* Developing effective relationships with suppliers
* Managing ongoing maintenance work and handling queries related to the above
* Working effectively as a member of the Market Data Acquisition team
