The Modis Solution:

Tesco Stores was using Modis International and several other vendors to provide information technology consultants for contingent and permanent assignments. The retailer later decided to appoint a master vendor for all IT recruiting.

Modis won the master vendor bidding process and developed an efficient transition plan to meet Tesco’s new service agreements as well as their ambitious six-week deadline. Modis’ plan completed the majority of the requested changes on time, allowing us to maintain complete transparency in communication and process. This included installing on-site liaisons to expedite requests from Tesco to Modis’ recruiting team dedicated to those requests. This team takes personal responsibility for the service delivery, performance and proactive development of Modis’ and Tesco’s relationship.

Modis has supplied Tesco with consultants with the following areas of expertise: development, support, business analysis, program and project management, business analysis, systems development, helpdesk, architecture, network, data warehousing, Oracle, C, Unix, SQL Server, Windows, Java, HTML and web technologies, Business Objects, EPOS, PeopleSoft, HP OpenView, Teradata, RFID, Retek, .net, Huron, Objectstar, Telon and Sybase.

The master vendor arrangement has proven so successful that Tesco recently selected Modis to provide permanent IT recruitment services as well.
