Over the last several years, we have seen major military powers across Europe working together to build a more integrated and technologically advanced defence industry. Part of this movement requires information technology partners that can deliver professionals with highly specific skill sets quickly and efficiently. In addition, all business with these departments must comply with local and/or national regulations. New security concerns require an increasing need for IT professionals with proper clearances as well.

Modis has an enviable record in working with some of the world's largest defence groups and military organisations. For over 30 years Modis has provided solutions across the board within project support for both contract and permanent IT & engineering staffing. Our success can be seen in the following:

• NATO BOA (Basic Ordering Agreement).The BOA is a licence to trade with NATO, the biggest and most powerful multinational military organisation in the world. If a company wants to trade with NATO it has to have a BOA. Similarly, all trade from NATO has to go through companies holding BOAs and they are few and far between. We hold one of only about 30 NATO BOAs worldwide.
• Modis being one of the selected few collaborative suppliers to a major missiles company
• Suppliers of contract technology staffing service to the MoD and government communities via the DCSA ICS catalogue.

Relevant industry sectors in which we specialise include: aerospace, communication, defence, transport and electronics. Technical disciplines include project engineers and managers, IT and systems engineers and communication engineers, who provide project support and task management services.

We are a company authorised to hold and process protectively marked material and have security cleared staff for a number of clients through our internal security officer. We supply staff with appropriate security clearance, manage projects, manage technical infrastructure and provide consultancy services for the MoD, the Royal Air Force, the Royal Navy, NATO and DSTL/Qinetiq. Furthermore, we can also offer  facilities for interviews and meetings in the security cleared Modis office.
